The Proactive Trending is a monitoring and analysis service where metrics about your database are collected and sent to Consistent State. These metrics are processed through a DSS based schema (isolated databases per customer), and a set of trending reports are generated weekly. Each of the trending reports includes a set of trending graphs related to one of the following categories:

• Cluster Stats
• Database Stats
• Table Stats
• Index Stats
• A Specific Add-On Package

Each report section includes a description and a set of graphs showing hourly, daily and monthly data. The Consistent State staff of professional PostgreSQL DBAs then review each and every customer report on a weekly basis and generate 'Summary and Recommendations' reports containing analysis and feedback The weekly Summary and Recommendations report includes recommended database administration steps designed to maintain reliability, performance and most of all no surprises within your PostgreSQL database servers. The Summary and Recommendations report includes simple informational comments, warnings, and critical items - all with recommended next steps. Each ‘Summary and Recommendations’ report includes both a summary and a detail section. The summary section presents a simple summary table with detailed sections (categorized by cluster) that include the following:

• Feedback Type
• Feedback Title
• Feedback Detail
• References (referenced trending reports)
